The most popular methods of travelling to Menaggio are by car and by plane. Here are a few guides to help you decide the best way for you to get there.
By Plane There are plenty of cheap direct flights available to Milan-Bergamo Airport (BGY), Milan-Malpensa Airport (MXP) and Milan-Linate Airport (LIN).

You can pick up a hire car at the airport. From Milan-Malpensa there is a through bus which stops at Menaggio on its way to St.Moritz. From other airports indirect bus routes may need to be taken from Milan.

By Car The trip to Menaggio should take 12 to 14 hours from Calais driving through Switzerland via the Gothard Tunnel. If travelling from the UK you can cross the channel using a ferry or the channel tunnel.
